bottae) was sighted this Summer in the Vernon area.
The Rubber Boa is listed as a species of special concern

Complete

been completed. This area is the first in BC with a
complete inventory of surrounding habitats. SEI provides

Feasibility Study for a potential national park reserve
to protect the desert, grasslands, and Ponderosa pine
ecosystems of the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys
in southern British Columbia. The local residents and the
millions of Canadians who've visited the area know it is
perhaps the most beautiful region of the country. Whether
